Helping Those In Need
We believe that part of our devotion to God includes helping those who are in need and less fortunate than ourselves. 1 John 3:17-18 says "But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."
At Vida Springs, we believe that every Christian should cultivate a heart of helping those who are in need. As we go through this life, our response should be "see a need, meet a need".
Partnering with Created Gainesville
In addition to the church living out their faith in this way, to help in our community, Vida Springs partners with Created Gainesville - a local, Christian-based non-profit committed to reaching women impacted by sexual exploitation in our community. Our hope is to provide Created Gainesville and the women they reach with needed supplies. If you would like to help, take a bag from our display in the lobby, fill it with the suggested items, and bring it back.
